There is NO zoning in Clifford Township

Clifford Township Zoning Proposal Status

In 2015, the Clifford Township Board of Supervisors directed the Planning Commission to explore the feasibility of zoning in Clifford Township. A consultant, Tom Shepstone, was hired to work with the Planning Commission to write a draft of a Zoning Ordinance. Public hearings were held in 2016 and 2017, with residents speaking up on both sides of the issue. As a result of this process, it was deemed that a review of the enforcement of current township ordinances should be completed first. Thus, the topic of zoning in Clifford is for now not actively being discussed. The most recent draft of the zoning document will serve as an excellent starting point for future considerations of the issue.
